The Synthotron is an incredibly unique pedal.

The term "unique" seems to get overused a lot in the world of pedals..... but the Synthotron III does things to your guitar sound that no other pedal can do.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. So many sounds. So many options. So much fun.

SYNTHESIZER SECTION

- 4 independent all analog voices with pitch and octave settings across them, determined by the top toggle switch on each of the four channels.
- Voice One toggle - Pitch 1 -(Yellow strip)= Unison, 1 octave up, 2 octaves up
- Voice Two Toggle - 8ve - (Orange strip) = References whichever note is being generated by Voice one and the generates either: 1 octave below, 2 octaves below or 3 octaves below
- Voice Three Toggle -Pitch 2 (Red strip) References note generated by Voice one and generates either: 1 octave below, p4 or p5 below, ma 2 or mi6 below
- Voice Four Toggle - 8ve - (Dark Red strip) = References whichever note is being generated by Voice three and the generates either: 1 octave below, 2 octaves below or 3 octaves below

- Decay and infinite sustain options - you can set each voice independently  to have an incredible crisp, staccato feel, or a gentle decay
(You can set the duration of the decay independently on each channel) or set it to an infinite sustain - where the synth will lock onto the note you’re playing and will
only change pitch when you change the note on your guitar.

- Flux dial controls the “spring” or glissando between notes.
- Flux Toggle - right position engages the flux option. Left position disengages. Left position enables a staccato option with great tracking.

-  Seperate Dry level control.

- External Dry out (so you can split the Synthotron III between two amps - one carrying clean signal, the other carrying synth.

- External CV in.

- External Trigger in.

FILTER SECTION

- Select between - Sample Hold Mode, Envelope Filter Mode and  Manual Sweep Mode (via exp pedal).

- Velocity and Freq control the speed and frequency range of the filter

- External Exp jack for controlling frequency range with an external exp pedal when in expression pedal filter sweep mode.

- External Exp jack for controlling filter section LFO speed with an external exp pedal.

CHORUS SECTION

- All analog chorus section (based around the Empress Deus Chorus) - using a NOS MN3007 bucket brigade chip.

- Twin voice settings allow selection between a warm CE-1 styled chorus or a bright shimmery chorus

- Velocity controls the chorus speed

-  Mix controls the blend of wet and dry signal

- Depth controls the depth of the chorus effect

SUMMARY

Each of the three effects in the Synthotron III (Synth, Filter, Chorus) can be used independently or simultaneously. Three incredible, ultra dial-able analog effects in one enclosure.

Each of the three effects in the Synthotron III has it’s own foot-switch allowing ease of engaging/ disengaging each section of the pedal.

The Synthotron III is true bypass so will not impact your tone when not engaged. It runs off a standard DC 9 volt pedal power supply. Inside the Synthotron it takes the 9 volts and converts to 18 volts for maximum headroom and stability.

The Synthotron III is the most unique sounding pedal I have ever created. Synthotron I and II were unique, but also quite polarising - the inherent challenges with
tracking meant that people seemed to either adore it or be utterly mystified by it. Synthotron III offers all the things people loved about it’s predecessors, but a vastly improved and expanded design.

This is the only pedal in the world that can create these sounds. There are thousands of Fuzz pedals, Chorus pedals and overdrive pedals. But only ONE Synthotron.
Each pedal will be hand signed and numbered by me, Ben Fulton.

Strong legs, somewhat industrial but trendy also
Size: side table leg
Good legs, some what utilitarian or industrial, they are strong as they are made out of pipe, and assembly is fairly easy once you get the idea of how it goes together. They are roughly 1.5 feet across maybe a bit less adjustable height on each leg, if you have wood floors you may want to put a pad under each leg as they are full metal pipes. Pretty interesting idea and does not cost much.

Pretty good, take your time and install it well
Size: side table leg
Materials are pretty solid, but once assembled it’s not as sturdy as you would think it should be since the material itself was solid, i say give them a chance, everything out there that’s similar is way over priced

Robust pipe & fittings with a beautiful, smooth black finish
Size: side table leg
This set of pipe & fittings for use as low table legs is heavy duty and aesthetically pleasing. Especially when the pieces are handled, the tactile sensation is much nicer than with plumbing steel pipe because this product is beautifully finished smooth. The black pipes are quite smooth as well as the fittings. The pieces are all also pretty robust, though the wall thicknesses are less than in pipe for pressurized water systems. Of course that makes sense as this product does not need to hold fluid pressure. In my view they got the heaviness factor of this product just right; it's not as heavy or robust as black pipe used in natural gas supplies, but still robust and pretty heavy. Assembled, this product is absolutely stiff and unyielding for a solid table that could hold a man's weight easily. The feet utilize a brilliant scheme so that each foot can be independently adjusted for an uneven floor. Thus a level table on an uneven floor is easily accomplished. The feet simply extend the effective leg length by screwing counter-clockwise. To prevent any shifting at the threads adding some pipe compound or teflon tape may be advised. Even masking or duct tape might work as the idea is to just fill any gaps where male threads meet female threads. The four flanges at the tops of the legs provide a wide, solid surface for attaching the table top, with either hidden screws underneath or you could through-bolt a glass table top (provided you have the skill to drill glass!). I think this product would look great with a glass top. Assembly is quick and easy. The hardest part is drilling holes underneath the table top to accept screws. No pipe wrenches are needed as the pieces screw together by hand to an adequate tightness. If any doubt whether they are tightened enough have a strong person with grippy gloves finish. The "X" in the center attaches to the legs with a very clever machine screw system tightened with the included hex wrench. This is presumably because if tightened simply by screwing the fittings, the point of snugness would not likely be where the "T" fittings are exactly vertical. The maker has solved this problem so that you are assured that all legs will be in the perfect vertical position once everything is tight. The setup is also nice and rigid once tightened. This is a huge benefit of steel pipe projects; they are really solid. The black finish is clearly very durable, like a powder coat. It appears that it will provide excellent protection against rust. Coverage is complete; I found no dings or scratches anywhere on any piece. Overall this is a very well-designed product for function and aesthetics. Perfect for a beautifully renovated warehouse condo where an industrial vibe is desired in a rock-solid table that won't shift around. The smoothness of the pipe is top notch. I've used lots of pipe in projects, some of it actual water pipe and some decorative pipe such as this. I've never seen better quality decorative pipe as this maker put in the effort to finish it beautifully smooth. At currently $34.99 I find the price quite reasonable too.
